Preschool at Adventure Corner
Ages 3-5

The Preschool program at Adventure Corner is designed to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning during the early years. Children learn in a play-based environment where activities are thoughtfully guided and adapted to each child's developmental readiness.

Rather than rushing academic milestones, we focus on building the foundational skills children need to transition confidently into kindergarten-academically, socially, and emotionally. 

Learning at a Child's Pace

Preschoolers are encouraged to explore and learn at their own pace while being gently introduced to early academic concepts through play, music, stories, and hands-on experiences.

Preschool learning includes:
  • Letters and letter sounds
  • Numbers and counting
  • Shapes and colors
  • Fine motor development
  • Early phonics and listening skills
​Reading lessons may begin around age 4, based on readiness.

A Typical Preschool Day Includes

  • Music and movement
  • Phonics lessons using The Better Alphabet Song
  • Story time and read-alouds
  • Sensory play and hands-on exploration
  • Building and imaginative play
  • Pre-writing and fine motor activities
  • Simple science exploration through Little Hearts & Hands Science
​Seasonal lessons and themed activities help preschoolers connect learning to the world around them.

Faith & Community

Faith is gently woven into our preschool day through:
  • Prayer and gratitude
  • Bible stories and songs
  • Emphasis on kindness, sharing, and respect
Children are welcomed into a nurturing community where they feel safe, loved, and encouraged.

Enrichment & Special Experiences

Preschool students participate in:
  • Enrichment Days (included in full-time enrollment) at their level of readiness
  • Seasonal celebrations and holiday-themed learning
  • Professional portrait sessions twice a year
  • A joyful Preschool Graduation celebration
Activities are thoughtfully adapted so each child can participate successfully.

  • If you are looking for a part time option, let us know.
  • Enrichment Days are included in full-time preschool enrollment at no additional cost. Full-time is 5 days a week. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Payments are due on the first of each month.​
  • Children need to be fully potty trained
  • A School Calendar and Student Handbook are given at the beginning of each new school year.
