- Scripture reading
- Prayer and reflection, independently done
- Weekly memory verse, written daily in a journal

Our Kindergarten program focuses on developing early academic skills in a gentle, developmentally appropriate way. Lessons are hands-on, engaging, and designed to build confidence and curiosity.

- Reading & Phonics: Children will work through the reading lessons if they did not attend preschool at Adventure Corner
- Language Arts: reading, phonics, writing, spelling, literature, grammar and punctuation, geography, and art
- Handwriting: fine motor development and letter formation
- Math: Numbers, counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, colors, calendars and time, measurement, and so much more
Instruction is:
- Small-group or one-on-one
- Adjusted to each child's readiness
- Supported with games, manipulatives, and movement
Enrichment Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Faith-Based Homeschool Enrichment Days: Tuesday & Thursday Mornings
Each enrichment day has a consistent rhythm while offering a distinct focus. This helps children feel secure and allows learning to deepen across the week.
Tuesdays: Discovery & Literature Day
Tuesdays focus on learning through stories, exploration, and hands-on discovery.

Thursdays focus on creativity, expression, and joyful learning.

- Literature-based history, learning about real people and event through high-quality books
- Read-alouds, narration, and discussion
- Science exploration and nature study
- Hands-on activities that connect stories to real-world learning
Thursdays: Creative Arts & Music Day
Thursdays focus on creativity, expression, and joyful learning.
Thursday mornings include:
- Bible focus and prayer
- Music appreciation and participation (listening, rhythm, singing, and movement)
- Art projects and creative expression
- Practical life skills and cooperative activities
- Literature connections that support creativity and reflection

- Enrichment Days are included in full-time kindergarten enrollment at no additional cost. Full-time is 5 days a week.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Payments are due on the first of each month.
- A School Calendar and Student Handbook are given at the beginning of each new school year.
