Adventure Corner Private School Helps Your Child Get Ready For Their Next Adventure!
We have Preschool Classes for ages 3-5, that prepares your child for Kindergarten. We have Private Home School Classes for Kindergarten and Early Elementary (1st - 4th). Children will enjoy a "homeschool style" of learning; learn at their own pace, taking it slower and letting them go faster, as needed, digging deeper into the subjects of their choice and interest, and having fun while making strong friendships!
We are a faith-focused school. Our teaching style and curriculum is centered around our love for Jesus and sharing that with our students in what we teach and how we teach, plus how we interact with the children throughout the day.

Got Questions?
WE HAVE ANSWERS!
What is your health and safety policy?
We follow all local guidelines, including our 24-hour sickness policy (your child must be clear of the following symptoms for 24 hours before returning to school: fever, vomiting, and/or diarrhea).
Do I have to provide meals for my child?
Yes, they will need to bring their lunch and snack each day. Please make sure they have eaten breakfast.
Can I take a tour first?
Yes! We would love to give you a tour of our school. During the tour, we'll tell you all about us. At the end, we'll ask: "Would you like your child to come to our school?" If so, that's when we'll have you fill out the registration form and we'll collect the registration fee and supply/curriculum fee. Please call us to schedule a tour.
What things do I need to send with my child each day?
Your child needs to bring a backpack with a change of clothes. They will be take it home and bring it back each day of school. Full-day students must also bring a lunch and snack. Full-day preschool students also need to bring a nap mat to lay on to read and rest during rest time each afternoon. Elementary students do not have to bring one, unless they want to.
What is your policy on potty training?
We ask that children attending our school be potty trained before starting. If your child is in the process and doing well at home, we are willing to work with them at school.
Do I have to buy school supplies?
No. Your child's supplies and curriculum are included in the yearly fees. Many parents and grandparents choose to purchase items off of our wish list throughout the year, but it is not required or even expected. We are grateful, of course. *One thing we are adding is a student scrapbook/yearbook. Each family is to purchase one from the recommended styles and have the child bring it on their first day, if possible. We will provide the photos that they child will put IN the yearbook. You can find the style in our wishlist on Amazon.
When is tuition due each month?
Tuition is due on the 1st of every month. If you need a different payment arrangement, that will have to be discussed before your contract is drawn up and signed. Supply/curriculum fees are due July 1st and/or January 1 and May 1, Depending on if you pay all at once in July or split it in three payments. That must be decided before the contract is signed.
Is tuition determined by attendance?
No, tuition pays for your child's spot regardless of attendance. Tuition is added up and divided by 10 or 12 months. School holidays are figured into the tuition and equal payments are due on the 1st of each month regardless of how many weeks of school are that month. It doesn't matter if the child is here every day or misses.
What if I'm a teacher and I am not working holidays or summers? Do I still have to pay for those weeks?
Tuition for teachers is determined differently. Teachers are charged for the weeks of school but do not have to pay for the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and spring break or summers unless they choose to have them attend during that time.
When does school start? Can I enroll mid-year?
Preschool and PreK classes are year round and run August - July. Our Kinder and Early Elementary school year runs mid August - May (9 months) with summer camps the rest of the year, except for one week during summer that we are closed. If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to check for availability.
What is your response time answering emails and texts?
During school hours, we will get back to you during a break time and possibly right after closing. Starting Friday night through Sunday night, we do our best to separate work and family time. If we see that it is urgent, we will reply as soon as we are able, regardless of the time or day of the week.
